The approach to the proposed interior is defined by three key factors. The first is the distinctive architecture of the hotel, designed by ADNS in 2000, clad in red granite and constructed from timeless, high-quality materials. The second factor is the character of a congress hotel and the expectations of its demanding, predominantly business-oriented clientele. The third essential aspect is the IHG design manual, which defines the open lobby concept. The focal point of the space is the central bar — a daytime venue for coffee, breakfast, or informal meetings, which transforms into a vibrant social hub in the evening through dynamic lighting.

Each functional zone operates as an individual “pavilion,” distinguished by specific surface treatments, ceiling designs, and lighting atmospheres. The entrance area features a corporate slatted wall and wooden ceiling, a motif repeated at other access points. Lounge areas are characterized by oak flooring, bookshelves, and carpets, while circulation routes employ durable finishes such as stone or ceramic tiles and concrete screed.

The layout is highly flexible: sliding partitions allow the conference zone to be separated from the hotel area, while still maintaining the possibility of open connectivity in line with the open lobby concept. Distinctive spaces include a winter garden designed for fine dining and a pop-up lounge adaptable as a children’s corner, venue for family events, or private meeting room.

The material palette emphasizes quality and durability — oak, concrete screed, decorative plaster, and ceramic mosaic. The overall design is unified by a vertical ripple or fluted motif expressed in various forms. The color scheme responds to the red granite façade by introducing a green central bar and natural tone-on-tone shades. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, suitable for both business guests and families with children.
