The café design within the congress center builds upon the interior concept of the building, conceived in the spirit of late Brutalism of the 1970s. Its character is defined by exposed concrete, a clear structural logic, and a dark coffered ceiling grid that establishes the rhythm of the space. The newly inserted intervention respects this raw architectural framework and complements it with a warmer material layer in the form of leather furnishings, brass details, and soft suspended lighting that humanizes the monumental scale of the interior.
The linear bar follows the horizontal composition of the space and naturally connects to the main circulation routes of the building, while the transparent relationship with the foyer enhances openness and visual continuity. The café is conceived as a flexible, multifunctional environment combining traditional seating with an integrated coworking zone in the form of a long communal workbench equipped with technological infrastructure. In this way, it expands the function of the congress center into a space for informal meetings, work, and social events.
