Tetín is not only associated with the death of Saint Ludmila, but also with a landscape imbued with deep spirituality, legends, and narratives that permeate the entire territory. The genius loci is so powerful that the proposal enters the site with maximum humility. The intention is not to rewrite the place, but to reinforce its atmosphere and strengthen the perception of its historical memory. The use of natural materials in the ground plane refers both to the era of Saint Ludmila and to local tradition. The principal unifying material is therefore stone paving made of local limestone, complemented by grass-jointed paving with wide gaps allowing vegetation to grow through, as well as generous lawn areas for everyday use.

Additional ground-level elements include low limestone walls that function as large-scale planters for trees and at the same time as comfortable seating. All details — drinking fountains, waste bins, and small urban furniture — are designed to appear timeless and unobtrusive, preserving the calm character of the environment. The concept also incorporates symbolic evening lighting: in the small piazza near the rectory, in-ground lights form the shape of a cross, while a lighting motif around the cemetery at the Church of St. John of Nepomuk recalls the shape of a headscarf. Both patterns are perceptible from above and reference elements of the Tetín municipal emblem, linking local myths with specific sites.

From the overall revitalization plan, two key steps have already been completed — the improvement of the surroundings of the Church of St. John of Nepomuk and the restoration of the water reservoir and its immediate setting. These realized interventions signal the direction in which the central area of Tetín will continue to develop.
